Effective Date: 1st May 2009 By creating a member account and by using this website BeThereAt.com you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions: BeThereAt.com is not a dating website and is not intended to be used as such. Please DO NOT use or try to use BeThereAt.com as a dating website. There are plenty of legitimate dating websites available.

Only users who are at least 18 years old are eligible to become BeThereAt.com members. By registering on our Web Site, you represent and warrant that you meet BeThereAt.com's age requirements. If you have been convicted of any offence under the Protection from Harassment Act (1997), or under any statutory enactment replacing and/or amending such Act, and/or any offence relating to violence, you may not become a member. Or, if you have been subject to any injunction or any order to pay damages under the Protection from Harassment Act (1997), or under any statutory enactment replacing and/or amending such Act, you may not become a member.

BeThereAt.com is a social networking website which allows its members to ‘post’ events and activities in which other members can take part. It also provides a way for adults to communicate online and potentially meet offline in cities across the UK. This is a legal agreement ("Agreement") between you and BeThereAt.com. Please read the Agreement carefully before signing-up to become a member, posting an event or activity, or registering to attend an event. By signing-up or registering to attend an event, you agree to the terms and conditions of this Agreement (the "Terms"). If you do not agree to the terms, please do not sign-up or register to attend an event through the Bethereat.com website. If you do not accept these Terms of Service, you must discontinue use of the Web Site and any of its services. We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time by posting changes on this Web Site. We encourage you to check these Terms of Service frequently. Your continued use of this Web Site or its services or features (collectively, the "BeThereAt.com Services" or "Services") constitutes your acceptance of the current posted Terms of Service. If you violate these Terms of Service, we may, at our discretion, terminate your membership, remove or modify the content you contributed, or take any other action that we determine to be appropriate. BeThereAt.com may prevent anyone from signing-up, or from registering for an event, or from attending an event through BeThereAt.com at any time, for any reason, without explanation. BeThereAt.com may prevent you from using its messaging service to contact other members who have blacklisted you. BeThereAt.com may prevent you from seeing events organised and posted by members who have blacklisted you, or prevent you from inviting other members who have blacklisted you to events that you are organising through BeThereAt.com. BeThereAt.com may do all of these things without notifying you. BeThereAt.com reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate your access to the BeThereAt.com website, or to an off-line event organised through BeThereAt.com, without notice, upon any breach of this Agreement by you which BeThereAt.com becomes aware of. To become a BeThereAt.com Member, you will be asked at the Web Site to select a username and password, and to provide your email address and name. Members are identified on BeThereAt.com by their username. A Member's full name and email address are not directly disclosed to other Members and users, unless the Member includes this information in an invitation, comment, personal profile, or other public posting, (however BeThereAt.com advises you not to do so). By becoming a member of BeThereAt.com you agree that the information that you provide to the Web Site will be true, accurate, current and complete, and that you will update it promptly for changes. Members can post a personal profile which will be viewable by Members and users of the Web Site. Although posting a personal profile is optional, letting other Members and users know about your background helps other Members and users to decide whether they will accept your invitations, or confirm your acceptance of their posted invitation. Information that a Member may optionally include in his or her profile includes, without limitation, first name, occupation, hometown, education, personal interests and beliefs, gender, age, and other information. A Member can edit his or her profile at any time. We encourage you to carefully consider the information that you post on BeThereAt.com and that you provide to other users. Although the ‘sign-up’ information which you provide to BeThereAt.com remains private and invisible, the information that you post in your personal profile, is visible to all BeThereAt.com Members. Accordingly, we recommend that you do not include your full name, your email address, your home or work address, your phone number, your full date of birth or any other personally identifiable information in your Username, profile or any other posting. We encourage you to review our Safety Tips. You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you select for your BeThereAt.com Member account. You agree not to share your password with anyone. Any activities traceable to your username and password will be your responsibility, regardless of whether you authorized those activities. You are responsible for logging out if your computer is accessible to others. This prevents unauthorized access. When registering for an event or activity through BeThereAt.com, you may not send anyone in your place or authorize others to attend an event on your behalf. You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BeThereAt.com, its officers, directors, employees, agents and third parties, for any losses, costs, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable solicitors' fees) relating to or arising out of your use of BeThereAt.com, including any breach by you of the terms of this Agreement. Opinions, advice, statements, offers, or other information or content made available through BeThereAt.com, but not directly by BeThereAt.com, are those of their respective authors, and should not necessarily be relied upon. Such authors are solely responsible for such content. BeThereAt.com does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information on the service and neither adopts nor endorses nor is responsible for the accuracy or reliability of any opinion, advice, or statement made by parties other than BeThereAt.com. Under no circumstances will BeThereAt.com be responsible for any loss or damage resulting from anyone's reliance on information or other content posted on BeThereAt.com or transmitted to BeThereAt.com users.

When using BeThereAt.com, you agree that:

1. You are solely responsible for your conduct at events and the content or information you publish or display (hereinafter, 'post') on BeThereAt.com, or transmit to other BeThereAt.com Members.
2. You will not post content to BeThereAt.com. that contains:
   • Information that you know to be false, inaccurate or misleading;
   • Language that is, in our sole judgment, defamatory, libellous, hateful or otherwise offensive, abusive, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, harassing, racially offensive, or illegal material, or any material that infringes or violates another party's rights (including, but not limited to, intellectual property rights, and rights of privacy and publicity).
   • Personal information (such as full name, address, email address, or phone number) about another individual without that individual's express prior consent;
   • Advertising or commercial content that is not relevant in the context including spam, junk or bulk email;
   • Photographs containing nudity, or obscene, lewd, violent, harassing, sexually explicit or otherwise objectionable subject matter;
   • Viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time bombs, or other computer programming routines that are intended to damage, interfere with, intercept, or appropriate any system or data;
   • Content for which you receive compensation or other consideration from a third party;
   • Or content that, in our sole judgment, violates the standards of good taste or the standards of this Web Site.
3. You will use BeThereAt.com in a manner consistent with any and all applicable laws and regulations.
4. You will not include in your profile any telephone numbers, street addresses, last names, URL's or E-mail addresses other than where asked for in the Confidential Personal Information section.
5. You will not include in your profile any offensive anatomical or sexual references, or offensive sexually suggestive or connotative language, and you will not post any photos containing nudity or personal information. BeThereAt.com reserves the right, but has no obligation, to reject any profile or photo that does not comply with these prohibitions.
6. You will not engage in advertising to, or solicitation of, other members to buy or sell any products or services through BeThereAt.com. You will not transmit any chain letters or junk E-mail to other BeThereAt.com members.
7. You will not post, distribute or reproduce in any way any copyrighted material, trademarks, or other proprietary information without obtaining the prior consent of the owner of such proprietary rights.
8. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other BeThereAt.com Users. BeThereAt.com reserves the right, but has no obligation, to monitor and/or mediate disputes between you and other Members.
9. You are solely responsible for ensuring that you are at the correct meeting venue at the correct time, as we cannot be liable for any loss or expense suffered by Members because of their late arrival. It is your responsibility to ensure that you adhere to all itinerary instructions and Regulations provided through BeThereAt.com and follow any instructions as displayed in your Diary or given to you by the event organiser.
10. Through our services we arrange for our users to physically meet up at private and public venues. Although a member of BeThereAt.com may organise these events, BeThereAt.com is not responsible in any way for the actions of any individuals at these events or for the personal safety of any individuals attending the event. We request that BeThereAt.com users exercise caution and good judgment when attending these events and refer to our online Safety Guidelines.
11. Some members may organise or propose an event or activity such as an adventure sport which could involve potential danger. BeThereAt.com does not accept any responsibility for, or guarantee the safety of any event or activity posted on its website. Each member is responsible for his or her own safety and if they have any doubts or reservations, they should not attend the event or activity.

You agree, whether you are a Member or a non-registered user of this Web Site, that you will not:

• Use BeThereAt.com to further or promote any illegal activity or enterprise, including fraud, trafficking in obscene material, pornography, drug dealing, gambling, harassment, stalking, spamming, or distributing viruses or other harmful files;
• Use BeThereAt.com to harass, abuse or harm others;
• Impersonate or attempt to impersonate another BeThereAt.com Member or user;
• Sell or otherwise transfer a BeThereAt.com profile;
• Harvest or collect information about BeThereAt.com’s users without their express consent;
• Solicit personal information from anyone under 18;
• Remove any copyright, trademark or other proprietary rights notices contained on BeThereAt.com or any material downloadable from BeThereAt.com;
• Frame BeThereAt.com, place pop-up windows over its pages, or otherwise affect the way BeThereAt.com is displayed, unless you have first received our express written permission;
• Add or use ActiveX, Java, Javascript, cookies, web beacons or other tracking technologies on BeThereAt.com;
• Use information found on BeThereAt.com to send spam;
• Or re-sell, decompile, reverse engineer, or disassemble BeThereAt.com, its contents or technology.

You may not transmit any chain letters, spam, junk email or other unsolicited bulk emails or messages to other Members. In order to protect our Members from such advertising or solicitation, BeThereAt.com reserves the right to restrict the number of messages or acceptances which a Member may send to other Members in any 15 minute or other time period to a number which BeThereAt.com deems appropriate in its sole discretion. If you breach these Terms and send any chain letters, spam, junk email or other unsolicited bulk emails or messages of any kind through the BeThereAt.com Services, you acknowledge that you will have caused substantial harm to BeThereAt.com, and that BeThereAt.com has the right to pursue you for damages. You also hereby agree to waive any privacy or other rights that might prevent or inhibit BeThereAt.com from obtaining your identity and any other information for the sole purpose of establishing or proving your violation of this Terms or otherwise enforcing the Terms. Despite BeThereAt.com’s rules regarding permitted content, content posted on the Web Site by Members (for example, in their profile) may contain inaccurate, inappropriate, offensive or sexually explicit material, products or services, and BeThereAt.com assumes no responsibility or liability for this content. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other BeThereAt.com Members. We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to monitor disputes between you and other BeThereAt.com users.

Any dealings you have with a third party linked to or from this Web Site are between you and the third party. Your use of a third-party Web site is governed by its terms of service and privacy policy. We have no control over these Web sites or their content. Other Web sites may link to our Web Site without authorization. In addition, other Members may post copyrighted information, which has copyright protection whether or not it is identified as copyrighted. Except for that information which is in the public domain or for which you have been given permission, you will not copy, modify, publish, transmit, distribute, perform, display, or sell any such proprietary information. By posting information or content to any public area of BeThereAt.com, you automatically grant, and you represent and warrant that you have the right to grant to BeThereAt.com and other BeThereAt.com Members an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, fully-paid, worldwide license to use, copy, perform, display and distribute such information and content and to prepare derivative works of, or incorporate into other works, such information and content, and to grant and authorize sub-licenses of the foregoing.

Our aim is to provide a way to meet groups of people for Social events and activities across the UK and connect and network online with like minded people. BeThereAt.com does not verify personal information on its participants or any other aspects of their general background. It is up to you to clarify these issues to your own satisfaction. BeThereAt.com does not have the ability to independently screen participants registering as members or to attend all organised events or activities posted on its website. By registering to become a member or to attend an event or activity through BeThereAt.com, you are agreeing that BeThereAt.com is not liable for any damages, direct or indirect, that may in any way arise out of becoming a member of BeThereAt.com or attending an event or activity posted on its website. This includes, without limitation, damages arising out of travelling to and from an event or activity or communicating with other members of BeThereAt.com.

Whilst membership and use of Be There At is free, Be There At limited are not resposible for any booking, entry or membership fee or any other expense incurred by members whilst using the website to attend or arrange events. Be There At members undertake to attend or organise entirely at their own risk and not to hold be There At Limited liable for any costs incurred in doing so.
